Beneficiary:
The beneficiaries of the NALSA (Child-Friendly Legal Services for Children) Scheme, 2024 are children, including those with disabilities, who have a legal matter to file or defend a case. The Legal Services Authorities Act ensures that these children have access to legal aid and assistance.
Benefits:
The Scheme will ensure that children, including children with disabilities, have access to expert, specialized and competent legal practitioners and are empowered to understand their legal rights, entitlements, court processes and procedures.
How To Apply
To apply for the NALSA (National Legal Services Authority) Child-Friendly Legal Services Scheme, a child can apply through their parents or legal guardian. The application can be submitted physically, by mail, or online through NALSA’s website or by email. You can also apply through the State Legal Services Authorities or by contacting a Legal Services Institution in your area.
